The Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions India South province raise their hearts in gratitude to God the Almighty for the precious gift of Sr. Roshni Tete to our Congregation. We celebrated and rejoiced with Sr. Roshni God’s goodness and blessings. We are thankful to the parents who offered her to serve God through our RNDM way of life.

Roshni means light, yes she always radiates the light of joy, peace and gentleness. We witnessed her courageous Yes to the Lord through her perpetual Vows. She hails from Odisha’s Raurkela district. She was blessed with the presence of her parents and two brothers.

The ceremony was held in Mariam Nilaya novitiate chapel. The main celebrant was Rev Fr. Benny Kootanal the MSFS provincial of south west province. He said in his reflection there is vast difference in Joy and happiness. If happiness is water Joy is the source of that water. Water can get sometimes dried up but sources can never get dried up when the joy is instilled in it. He also said Christianity is religion of joy and it’s the joy of the spirit that helps us to live forward inspite of the difficult moments of our life.

Sisters represented from the different communities on this auspicious occasion. After the Eucharist we had a short felicitation for Sr. Roshni her parents were honored too. We are very grateful to God and pray that Sr. Roshini joyfully serves her God in his People as the CLT missions her to Senegal.
